History of EuroSunday:

Sacramento's EuroSunday originally began in Elk Grove a few blocks from Larry Stiver's home. If it flopped then he could easily drive home with his head held low. In his efforts at trying to stir up attendance for the August 2006 kickoff, he emailed an active forum poster named Adam Cook asking for help, suggestions, and support in attendance. Adam very abruptly asked, "Who the hell are you?" (EuroSunday still has that original email!!) After a few conversations, Adam agreed to help with the first EuroSunday by gathering attendance and giving insight on what to expect on the first go around. 5 days before the event, Adam asked how many spots Larry had reserved. Larry (ever so proud) immediately responded..."No worries, I have 25 that will be saved for us". Adam responded "Ummm dude, you need to have 75 spots saved and should expect about 110 cars!" Larry scrambled to account for that "remote possibility" - c'mon how does this guy think that is going to happen? Kick-off day counted 113 cars! Adam and Larry have proven to be an unlikely but effective team ever since for EuroSundays.

EuroSunday has now grown into a cross country event. The event has evolved from a small gathering of gear heads into a lifestyle all of its own. The event brings a fun and safe atmosphere to every venue. This no pressure, no competition format is done as an effort to allow everyone to enjoy both cars and bikes and the owners of these mechanical works of art. EuroSunday brings together family, friends, and networking under a common interest, their passion for cars/ bikes and the open road.
