| Boosted | Short for a car that uses a supercharger or turbo charger |
| Super Charger | A device that is belt driven by the motor to ram air in the intake side of the car |
| Turbo | A device that uses the exhaust of a engine to spin a fan like system to ram air in the intake side of the car |
| NOS | Short for nitrous oxide which is a gas that is sprayed into the motor to give it extra power in metered increments |
