What exactly is EuroSunday?
Great question!! EuroSunday is armed with enthusiasts and their exotic, rare, or vintage vehicles. You will find others sharing stories, admiration, passion, and experiences with others in a casual face-to-face atmosphere and/or in an online community. It’s about espresso and kicking the tires with others who appreciate the motorized vehicle in front of them. Our Merchandise Coordinator says that it is “A big car club with all the baby car clubs meeting in one spot…like one big happy family”. Check out the two videos above for a visual reference as well.
When is EuroSunday?
Each area has a designated Sunday that the monthly event will be held. For instance, Sacramento is always the 4th Sunday of each month. Optional breakfast club starts at 6:30am. Welcome to all, this early morning venue usually consists of the volunteers and our core group of participants having breakfast and caravanning to the main event location by 8:00am ~ our official start time. We finish the main event (similar to a “Show and Shine”) after our 10:00am announcements.
What kind of vehicle can I bring?
Check out our table/list of vehicles below. Biggest question is can I bring an American car…absolutely!! At our events, we focus on our marques, but we are essentially one big club made up from other clubs/individuals to create an AWESOME venue! Anything with wheels and a passionate owner is welcome.

Where do I park?
No worries! We have parking coordinators at each event to direct you to your spot, and guide you in. We feature exotic, rare, super, and vintage vehicles (cars and motorcycles alike and the majority are of European influence). Our featured vehicles will be pushed up front and enthusiasts will be surrounding our marques. We want everyone to feel part of this group and understand that owner/enthusiasts love their Renault Alliance as much as another loves his Aston Martin Vanquish. So you will find our parking matching that belief.
Is there a charge for the Sunday events?
We started with this being a free event for enthusiasts and it will remain that way. Our Sunday Main Event is open to the public and free of charge.
Can any club or individual participate?
We welcome hearing from any group, club, or individual interested in our events.
Who runs EuroSunday?
Larry Stiver is the President, Adam Cook is Operations, Mike Ritenour is the Managing Director. Our core group consists of; Kym Kaslar with Membership Communications, Erik Bonney with Social Media, Jeff Swain and Josh Dare with Public Relations, Sami Stiver with Merchandising, and Mark Gold with Photography. We are largely volunteers that candidly admit this is officially an “extreme hobby”.
What is a Treffen?
Definitions include; 1. to come upon by chance or arrangement. 2. to be present at the arrival of. 3. To be introduced to. 4. to come into the company or presence of. 5. to come together. 6. to become introduced. 7. to assemble. EuroSunday Treffens are gatherings for our members (and at times our participants as well). They are scheduled at times and locations away from Sunday’s main event. We create a unique experience for our members with track days, Concours events, day or weekend rallies, and dinner meets to give a few examples. It is an opportunity for a gathering of enthusiasts and vehicles and is often a show in and of itself.
What are your event rules?
This is a biggie!! Check out our event Codes of Conduct;
Codes of Conduct:
• No high speed arrivals / departures
• No revving of engines
• No loud stereos
• No peeling out
• Be respectful towards the local shops, managers, staff, and customers
• Ask before touching any vehicle
• Obey all traffic laws
• No racing
• No for sale signs
• Have fun
We aim to be respectful of all around us and our participants always help us monitor these so we can continue to meet. We are not bashful about pointing out when someone is bending or breaking any of these rules. While VERY rare, we have asked the hard-headed to leave and not come back. We are an enthusiast community and watch out for each other and our event.
Can I go on the EuroSunday drives?
Drives are for EuroSunday members only. We live in the land of litigation and are desirous of knowing who is driving, and that they are licensed, insured, and recognized as a member with EuroSunday’s insurance carrier. We require all drivers register with us prior to an event start.
Do you have codes of conduct or tips for any and all of your events and rallies?
Here are some helpfuls:
- Provide ample following distance. (at least a 2 car minimum)
- Drive your drive and stay within your limits.
- Please try to keep up with the group within your limits.
- Use your radio to inform the drive leaders if you are falling behind so they
- can adjust the speed of the group as needed.
- Let faster participants pass when safe.
- No show-boating of any kind. (drifting, unsafe passing, etc, will not be tolerated)
- Follow directions of the Drive Coordinators at all times.
- Be courteous to all cars and motorcycles on the road.
- If using a radio please keep the chatter to a minimum if requested by the drive leaders.
- Please make sure your car / bike has enough fuel prior to the drive.
- Check tire pressure to insure proper inflation.
- Check fluids (oil, brakes, power steering and so on).
- Please inspect your ride before the drive. (We do have plenty of gear heads and mechanics roaming around that might extend you a courtesy peek.)
Why should I be a member (what do I get for being a member)?
We are desirous of this event growing and having a greater impact on any particular persons’ experience with the enthusiast community. Expect special events, venues, and discounts for our members, all while we give back to the community through our selected charities.
Where does the money go with EuroSunday membership and sponsorship?
In addition to standard expenses (taxes, attorney fees, insurance, accounting fees, and charitable contributions), we are attempting to develop a paddock of vehicles for use in promoting the enthusiast community. While our current leaderships’ personal vehicles are already an eclectic inventory, our vision is to have a few promotional vehicles owned directly by EuroSunday. This would allow us to represent in the super, rare, exotic, and/or vintage classes for special event venues to further the experience for all attending.
Do I need to have membership for my spouse and kids?
Nope! We elected not to create senior, spouse, family, and/or kids’ memberships. Our belief is that when a membership is purchased, then it extends to everyone they manage to legally fit in/on the vehicle. We are promoting a culture here! We want you to fill up/loading up those vehicles and get everyone out to our events and participate. We do require for all drives/rallies a member be present and that the driver be minimum of 18 years old and be a registered driver with EuroSunday prior to the event start.
Can I participate in some the special events or discounted purchases without being a member?
To participate in anything beyond the main event you must be a member. However, you may become member for one month at a discounted rate to participate in your selected event or purchase.
How will I find out about future location and times of EuroSunday events?
Anyone who has created a profile on our site will be emailed about upcoming dates, times, and locations of the event areas you have selected. Members will also be notified but will also be receiving their monthly newsletter with specific event details.
How are the monthly location selections made?
Frequently they find us! Business members will often be the designated host and will work with the Area Director to choose the appropriate venue. The Area Director always has personal favorites that are our repeat venues. If you are interested in certain spots or have venue ideas, then please contact your Area Director (that is often your venue host and/or the emcee)
How are the non-profits that EuroSunday contributes to on behalf of its members selected?
We must determine if a non-profit will tailor events that play to our members’ likes. Also, we would like to see that they are receptive to our enthusiasm and unique gatherings. Our personal favorites are the California Auto Museum and the Shriners Hospital. The reality is that we are suckers for anything that can pull cars, motorcycles, and families together. These particular organizations have a long history of doing just that.
What am I registering for?
Registering on our site allows you to access dates, times, locations of our events, and also pictures of past events on the website.
What is an “Open Event”?
This is a EuroSunday event open to EuroSunday members, enthusiasts, and the public.
Is membership available to everyone?
Yes, our membership program is for Car Clubs, Businesses, and individuals. Certain areas are still developing their EuroSunday main event venue and may not be offering membership at this time. Venues beyond the main event for EuroSunday will require membership.
